With the products of the Okatmos series, we are one step ahead technically. Emissions

The mixing plant was transferred into a closed construction so that no relevant emissions could occur during the filling/packaging processes. A further reduction of the solvent emissions is achieved by adding the solid materials in several steps and then cooling the mixture. In a fully automated process, small amounts are measured out together with the binding resins via a second storage container so that the mixing vat no longer needs to be opened. Result: improvement of working conditions, emissions that fall below the limits, a conserving of raw materials.

Liquid Waste

Our sewage system serves to dispose of the rinse water collected while cleaning the mixer. To purify the rinse water, a powdery cracking agent is employed to obtain a sludge that will settle. Using a filter chamber press, this sludge is compacted to a filtered cake and, based on its high plastic content, passed on for energetic utilisation. The remaining filtered water is repurified by depth filtration and fed into the municipal sewer system as clear sewage.
